We are now on the countdown, not only to Christmas, but to Shaldon's Boxing Day 3-Legged Race on Monday 26th December!! This year's route will be... start at The Ness, The Ferry Boat Inn, The Clipper, The Shipwrights Arms, The Consrvative Club and finishing on The Green outside The London Inn. We are looking forward to seeing this year's array of fancy dress... which if previous years are anything to go on, will be colourful, whacky and wonderful!!!  In preparation for Water Carnival Day and upholding the Carnival traditions, each year we select a new Royal Party to represent Shaldon. If you would like to take part in 2017, application forms are now available; the application deadline is 31st January 2017.  Tickets are now available for this year's Christmas Party, £15 from Bradleys in Fore Street - buffet included. Get your party hats on!!!  Following the success of last year's village window dressing competition, this year's theme is Christmas By The Sea; see below for full details and we look forward to sharing in your festive magic.  Shaldon Water Carnival will have a float in the Teignmouth Carnival procession this Thursday evening, 28th July; the procession starts at 7pm.
