The 2015 Water Carnival Programmes are now being delivered around Shaldon and Ringmore. They can also be obtained from some local shops and the Tourist Information hut in The Ness car park PLUS you can view an on line copy by clicking on the image below. Click here to open the form Car / Window Stickers will be on sale on Water Carnival Day on 1st August from our Committee Tent on The Beach. Also available at The Tourist information hut in the Ness car park. All proceeds go towards funding our events.  Spring Bank holiday, Monday May 25th is the day we will be holding our 55th annual Spring Fete on Shaldon Village Green. We are putting out our call for people to supply plants, cakes and bric-a-brac for the stalls . Please get in touch if you can help us out.
Spring Fete is also the day that this year's Carnival Royal Party will be crowned... we look forward to seeing you there to give the boys and girls lots of support. Click here to meet this year's Royal Party. More details as we get closer to the day... Our AGM will be held on at 7pm on Friday 27th February at The Shipwrights pub in Shaldon.
Part of the evening will be the draw for this year's Water Carnival Day Royal Party. An invite for nibbles and a glass of wine is also extended to volunteers to say thank you for their support throughout last year that helped to make our events a success. Come along to support the young hopefuls and meet the Committee. We look forward to seeing you there. Happy New Year everyone. We are now starting to plan our 2015 events and we are looking for new committee members and people to add to our list of event day volunteers - you can join at any point throughout the year. Come and join us, have fun and add value back to your community.
Click here to contact us to get more information. The Ness will be the starting and end point for this years race. Those who complete the course can collect their finishers medal from The Ness – a piece of memorabilia to show off to your friends! How many can you collect over the years?! Registration will be from 10:30am until 11.30am, followed by the judging of the fancy dress. The entry form is available to print from the Forms page on our website so that you speed up your registration process on the day. The race is open to pairs or groups. Under 12's race for free and age 12 and over pay £2.50 per runner. The race will start at 12pm after the fancy dress judging. So, get those creative costume juices flowing... how whacky can you be with four legs tied up to be just three?! Dress up and join in or come along to see the amazing creations, ingenuity never fails to impress!
