We are delighted to announce that this year's Water Carnival Royal Party has been selected.

We asked the boys and girls to complete a questionnaire, so now you can meet our King and his attendants and find out a bit about what they like to do...

Maisie Gregory

I am 11 years old and have an older brother and sister.

I play a lot of sports and I am very active.

I like to listen to music, to eat chicken nuggets and drinking strawberry milkshakes.

I am excited for Water Carnival Day and to be the Carnival Queen.

Freddy Harbert

I am 11 years old and have lived in Shaldon for my whole life. My favourite sport is gymnastics and I would love to take part in the Olympics.

I also enjoy playing games on my wiiU and I am looking forward to taking part in the carnival this summer. My favourite thing to eat are ice lollies.

Gracie Quartly

I am 11 years old and have just left year 6 at shaldon Primary School to start year 7 at Teignmouth Community School.

I like playing with my dog, Oslo and with all of my friends. My favourite sports are football and basketball. At school my favourite lesson is PE.

I love spending time on Shaldon beach and camping with my family and friends. My favourite song is Lush Life by Zara Larsson.

Billy Elkins

I have lived in Shaldon all of my life and I am the 5th generation of my family to attend Shaldon Primary School. My main hobby is football and I support West Ham United, but I love all sports.

I also enjoy playing Fifa on my Xbox. My favourite food is chilli con carne. I am pleased I was chosen to represent Shaldon Water Carnival, as it's a real fun and important day for Shaldon.
