Carnival Queen 2013 - Jemima Amstad

Jemima has lived in Shaldon for eight years and loves playing on the beach in the summer. She is a bit of a chatterbox, a fan of Rizzle Kicks, and is a whizz kid at Minecraft. Jemima is really looking forward to her year of being Carnival Queen with all her friends and can't wait to get on the boat on Water Carnival Day and parade around the estuary.

Princess Ella Quartly

Ella loves swimming in the river in Shaldon and playing around on the beach. Her favourite food is risotto and her favourite pop star is Taylor Swift. Ella's hobbies include gymnastics and playing "What's The Word". Ella loves the busyness of Water Carnival Day and is delighted to be part of this year's Royal Party.

Princess Neve Hardy

Princess Neve Hardy likes going to the beach and swimming in the sea. Neve’s favourite food is chicken and ice cream (but not together) and her favourite pop star is Kelly Clarkson. Neve’s grandad is coming over from New Zealand to see her as Carnival Princess so she is very excited about that.

Princess Maisy Harbert

Maisy follows her two older sisters in being part of the Shaldon Water Carnival Royal Party. She loves singing, dancing and acting so should thoroughly enjoy the role ahead of her. Maisy is a fan of Olly Murs, loves pizza and her favourite app is Fruit Ninja. Maisy is particularly looking forward to waving from the Royal Boat.

Princess Sian Tait

Sian grew up in Shaldon and loves mucking around on the river in her rowing boat. She also enjoys horse riding, loves eating pasta and her favourite pop star is Taylor Swift. Sian is most looking forward to Carnival Day and riding around on the Royal Boat.

Princess Eleanor Harman

Princess Eleanor Harman has lived in Shaldon for seven years, and thinks the village has a positive and friendly atmosphere. Eleanor’s favourite food is thai green curry with jasmine rice. Yum Yum! She is a Little Mix fan and enjoys horse riding, singing and dancing in her spare time. Eleanor is looking forward to being a Princess.
